The microwave and mini fridge were handy for late-night snacks, and we appreciated the proximity to a great restaurant nearby.
The outdated decor and some minor maintenance issues were noticeable throughout the facility.

Quiet with several rooms. Sits at edge of city with hilly woods all around. Interstate and highways close. Staff was friendly and stay was enjoyable.

The seasonal pool was a nice touch for some relaxation. The location is super convenient, right off the interstate. The atmosphere at travelodge was promising for a cozy stay.

Staying at the Travelodge Parkersburg was undoubtedly the most miserable hotel experience I have ever had in my life. The staff was unprofessional and disorganized. The room was filthy. I had to clean it myself. The estimated cost through Booked.net was way below what I was charged. I cancelled my second night's stay and would never recommend this hotel.
Everything. There is absolutely not one good thing I could say about this hotel. Housekeeping is non existant. My beds were not made upon my arrival. Trash cans were overflowing. Dirty towels and washcloths littered the room. I'm sure the sheets were not changed. The front desk host finally waited on me after she got off her personal phone call. This place is disgusting and I will share that opinion with everyone who will listen.

Very nice pool, the beds were comfy and though this hotel looked rough on the outside, the rooms were as clean as your more expensive hotels. They were in the process of fixing up the place but if you came in contact with one of their construction workers, they were polite and helpful if you had a question.
The continental was the smallest I ever seen, but my kids liked it. They had 2 different cereals, apples, coffee, glazed donuts and orange juice or apple juice. The donuts were very fresh.

Swimming pool and location to downtown.
Internet was non existent. I have not used dial up since I don't remember when. Two minutes to load a page is not fun. I depend on a working wi-fi when traveling to make my calls and check my visa etc. It really needs an upgrade. Not enough racks in bathroom, and as for breakfast, surely fresh fruit and bagels, some yogurt and eggs is not too expensive. Javex for cleaning is very harsh on one's sinus, other cleaners that are environmentally friendly must be available. More shampoo per room and a better choice of soap. In all for the price I got exactly what I paid for, but since the establishment has been paid off for years, surely a few perks would be nice. Not my style. Peter G.

Cheap and clean accommodations,, we were there only to sleep and shower
My bill was $3.42 more than I was quoted and the continental breakfast was all carbs, but what I expected for the price

For dads, it would be great if the rooms were cleaner.

missingWrote a review on 18 Junhelpful staffconvenient locationlack of cleanlinessinconsistent internetno breakfast
Despite the convenient location and helpful front desk staff, the experience fell short with a lack of cleanliness throughout the facility, impacting overall comfort. The absence of a proper breakfast left a void, although coffee was available in the lobby. Internet access was inconsistent, leading to frustration .
